4 February 2021 01:40Active Pillowfort user as I am, it is only understandable I think. Ever since 2018, I've been desperately looking for a new home. (That's when I stopped using Tumblr because it had too much acephobia.) It's pretty great I made a blog here because this place is god-tier in the way ao3 is, but of course this is no social media. I'm pretty amazed people managed to ever build communities on these (=LiveJournal and Dreamwidth). But I guess that's Internet 1.0 for you.
I tried Amino which I was pretty excited for but honestly, it's just not that good. It's full of passive-aggressive children who send you lewd rp's even when you say in your profile that you don't rp. I even logged back into my deviantart to rant about the state of today's internet. Look the thing is, I really hate Twitter, even more so than I hate Tumblr and that's what I call an achievement.
I posted on Pillowfort maybe three times a week maximum but I really grew to like it. Now that it's down temporarily, I'm just kind of twiddling my thumbs but that's what got me to check back here. My inactivity on this site started the same time when I made a profile on Pillowfort. But now that the site is down, I can't even see my Juhaku headcanon post, do you understand my pain. I'll try to crosspost more in the future, as well as backup my translations and headcanons as soon as the site is accessable again.
